Northern Alberta MX Tracks: Where the Wild Meets Wide Open Throttle

Up in Northern Alberta, motocross isn’t just a sport—it’s a way of life. With wide-open landscapes, deep loam, and some of the gnarliest natural terrain, these tracks separate the weekend warriors from the true throttle junkies. From flowing rhythm sections to rugged, old-school courses that test your grit, Northern Alberta’s MX scene is as wild as the backcountry it’s built on. If you’re ready to rip, roost, and send it where the air is crisp and the dirt is prime, welcome to the north—where the only limit is how hard you twist that throttle!

CHAOS MX PARK (Two Hills)

Chaos MX Park – A Hooligans' Favorite

!! This Track May or May NOT re-open for 2025. But we want to have it here as Chaos has made a huge impact on Alberta MX

Nestled in Two Hills County, Chaos MX Park has been a legendary spot for Alberta riders looking to push their limits. Spanning 159 acres, this motocross playground features two professionally designed tracks, catering to both adults and kids, plus open riding for quad enthusiasts. With on-site camping and a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere, it quickly became a go-to for weekend warriors and serious racers alike.
While Chaos MX is currently up for sale, its legacy as a Hooligans' favorite remains strong. Whether it reopens under new ownership or takes on a new identity, the memories made here—full sends, and post-ride antics—will always be part of Alberta motocross history. Stay tuned for updates on its future, because we’re all hoping this track gets another lap!

BUMP MX (Busby)

BUMP MX is a Northern Alberta practice track—not a race track, so leave your holeshot dreams at home. There’s no start gate, no finish line, and absolutely no messing around, because safety rules here are enforced with an iron fist. This place is strictly for those looking to sharpen their skills without the chaos of race-day intensity.
The track? Hard-packed and rarely groomed, so expect a choppy ride unless Mother Nature decides to help out. And speaking of rain—don’t even think about it. The moment a storm rolls in, the track gets shut down faster than a newbie in the pro class. Buyer beware, but if you follow the rules and respect the place, BUMP MX delivers solid seat time in a controlled environment. Just don’t push your luck—because the owner doesn’t play games.

Whiteridge MX Park (Blueridge)

Whiteridge MX Park – A Hooligan Favorite with a Fresh New Flow

With its killer new layout for 2024, this track has taken things to another level—flowy, technical, and built to keep you on the gas. Whether you’re hammering out motos or just looking for that perfect rhythm section to dial in, Whiteridge delivers.
The dirt? Prime when prepped. The layout? A damn good time. And with regular ride days planned on their calendar, there’s no excuse not to load up and rip. The Hooligans will be hitting this place hard in 2025, so if you see a pack of us tearing up the track, just twist the throttle and keep up!

Cold Lake MX Track (Cold Lake)

Mason Watt Memorial Raceway – A Hooligan Hotspot & Future National Battleground
If you thought Cold Lake MX was already a beast of a track, buckle up, because 2025 is bringing a full-blown redesign to get this place dialed in for the Nationals. That’s right—new layout, fresh challenges, and the same legendary Cold Lake dirt that keeps riders coming back for more.
The Holeshot Hooligans love this place, and with the upcoming changes, we’re gearing up to hit it even harder. Elevation, speed, and a layout built for serious senders—this is going to be one of Alberta’s must-ride tracks this season. If you’re not already planning a trip out, you’re doing it wrong.
