AVMX: The older we get, the faster we were.
May-Sept
AVMX, Alberta Vet Motocross – The Heart of Vet Racing in Alberta
The Alberta Vet Motocross Association (AVMX) isn’t just another race series—it’s a community, a legacy, and a damn good time. Since 1977, AVMX (Formerly AOTMX) has been at the core of Alberta’s motocross scene, bringing together racers of all ages for competition that’s as much about camaraderie as it is about crossing the finish line first. With a focus on family-friendly events, Oldtimer-friendly tracks, and a welcoming atmosphere, AVMX offers one of the most inclusive and enjoyable motocross experiences in the province.
And then there’s The Alberta Vet National—the must-attend race of the year! If you ride motocross in Alberta, this is the event to be at. Held in Calgary at Wildrose MX for 2025, the Vet National brings together the fastest veteran riders, up-and-comers, and legends of the sport for a weekend of intense bar-to-bar racing, big battles, and even bigger stories around the campfire. If you’re only racing one event this year, make it this one!
The Holeshot Hooligans are proud to call AVMX home, not just for the incredible racing but for the friendships we’ve built along the way. Whether you’re battling for a championship or just looking to rip some motos with good people, AVMX is the place to be. The racing is tight, the community is stronger than ever, and the stories? They just keep getting better. See you at the gate!
